Nile Crocodile

A Nile Crocodile is the largest reptile in Africa, at 20 inches. It weighs about 1,980 pounds. They can remain under water for more than an hour.

It lives in central to south Africa. It can survive wherever water is, even a short time in salt water. Their young can even live in puddles.
